Kohei TANAKA


On Thursday, the anime music guest of honor of the festival got on the J.E. Live House stage with seiyû Junko IWAO.
Their audience explored the worlds of One Piece, Dragon Ball, Evangelion… to the sound of Kohei TANAKA’s music and Junko IWAO’s enchanting voice.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

On Saturday, the J.E. Live House got carried away by the princess of kawaii! Kyary Pamyu Pamyu was the fashion guest of honor but she is also a singer and her famous PONPONPON hit invaded the J.E. Live House. In a colorful dress, she seduced her audience in pumped-up atmosphere!
As a proof, her many fans rushed to meet her during a Meet & Greet session. She also gave another showcase, on the main stage, during the HARAJUKU KAWAii!!! in Paris fashion show on Sunday.

Hemenway




A great discovery for those who did not know them yet: Hemenway, who conquered the audience during the 13th Impact, on Saturday and Sunday!
Their pop-rock sound, full of energy, had also charmed the manga guest of honor of the festival, Naoki URASAWA, who joined them on stage on Sunday for 3 titles, among which 20th Century Boy and Bob Lennon.

MAN WITH A MISSION

A wolf invasion at the J.E. Live House? No, this is no rumor since the wolf-headed musicians of MAN WITH A MISSION shook the stage!
Behind their wolf heads, the band members took the audience along punchy rock titles. During the showcase, the band sang a cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.

Momoiro Clover Z



Momoiro Clover Z offered the audience and their fans -some of whom had come from Japan - two performances full of energy and good humor!
After Thursday’s showcase, they were back on Friday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon on stage. The 5 girls were wearing costumes from the series and sang Moonlight Densetsu, the mythical theme of the anime.

Some lack of hip hop?! Then you missed ViRGO a.k.a. HAMMER, on stage on Sunday.
On lyrics inspired from Japanese folk tales, ViRGO a.k.a. HAMMER took the audience through a flow of hip hop!

Surprising shows
A cape, an eyeshade… and a helmet to screw a console on: of course, it is Professor Sakamoto! This strange character is also a talented musician playing video game music. Amazing!
