After 14 Impacts which have got ever more rich and surprising since 2000, the biggest festival about Japanese culture and entertainment in Europe has become a must-see event: Japan Expo is back in 2014, stronger than ever to celebrate its 15th anniversary for 5 days, one more than usual!

Japan Expo 15th Impact

From Wednesday to Sunday, July 2-6, 2014
Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center

Japan Expo on facebook & twitter

From its beginning in 2000 at EPITA with 3,200 attendees to the 14th Impact at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center with 232,876 attendees in 2013, Japan Expo has gone a long way, with one idea in mind: celebrating and spreading Japanese culture and entertainment with all the fans of manga and animation, all those who love Japan, prestigious guests, and passionate participants, with two ideas in mind: knowledge and entertainment.

Japan Expo is more than just a festival: it’s a party and an exceptional meeting place for the fans who love to get together around so many activities and events: fashion shows, showcases, preview screenings, cosplay, karaoke, video game tournaments, initiations to martial arts, conferences, and more. Japan Expo hosts dozens prestigious guests: mangaka, designers, directors, musicians, writers, producers, and many more. Come from Japan or elsewhere, those outstanding guests are the creative heart of the festival. Among the exhibitors, there are also all the publishers from the manga, animation, and video game markets, many stores, Young Designers inspired by Japan, as well as more than 150 fanzines and amateur booths.

To celebrate its 15 years’ existence, 4 days seemed quite short: in 2014 and to celebrate this anniversary, Japan Expo will be 5 days long! Get ready to celebrate this as well as Japanese culture from Wednesday, July 2, with an exceptional program for the occasion!
