Japan Expo and the publisher Ki-oon are glad to announce that Yoshiki TONOGAI, author of Doubt, will be at Japan Expo this summer!

Signing sessions on Friday,
and Sunday on Ki-oon's booth!



Yoshiki TONOGAI is a former assistant of Atsushi OHKUBO (Soul Eater). He got famous by winning the jury special award of a contest organized by SQUARE ENIX (Fullmetal Alchemist, Übel Blatt, Soul Eater, Pandora Hearts…). Since then, he’s making the readers of the magazine Gangan shiver with unsettling and stifling atmospheres.

After seducing a wide readership with Doubt, he’s back in France with a new Machiavellian thriller about the seven deadly sins: JUDGE ! See you at Japan Expo to discover what is definitely going to be the manga event of 2011

What is YOUR sin?




A 60m² area entirely dedicated to the series will propose an exhibition of original illustrations. And that’s not it! Full-scale statues of the masked characters will look down on the public as if to ask: what about you, what’s your sin?

“After indirectly causing the death of his own brother, Hiro is sick with remorse. Two years have elapsed when he suddenly awakens in the dark, tied with handcuffs and a mysterious rabbit mask on his face. At the end of a corridor, the dead body of a teenage boy and seven other terrified victims, locked up in a weird tribunal room.

Yet none of them is really innocent… Guilty of an unpunished crime, they all stand for a deadly sin: gluttony, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and wrath. The trial can start… Both judges and headmen, they will have to choose every twelve hours the next one to die among them.”
