Biography
Born on April 8, 1967 in Yokohama, Yasuhiro NIGHTOW has loved to draw Manga since childhood. He continued his creative passion well into his adult years in order to fill the “holes” of his life.
He debuted as a Manga artist in 1994 with CALL XXXX published by Shueisha in Super Jump. Since then he has also created the Manga Samurai Spirits which appeared in Tokuma Shoten’s Family Computer Magazine.

In 1995, the Manga Trigun began its serialization in the Tokuma Shoten Shonen Captain magazine. Trigun inspired the television Anime series of the same title, and became highly popular in the world. He is also known as creator of the characters and story of Gungrave, the third-person shooter video game series developed by Red Entertainment and released by SEGA as well as the animation with the same title.
For the animated movie, Trigun Badlands Rumble released in 2010, he took part in the creative work as well. He is now creating the Manga Kekkai-Sensen published by Shueisha as comic series in Jump SQ 19.
