Biography

 

1,65 m; 65 kg; born on October 6, 1159

From Kyôto, SUGI was first known as Yoshitsune MINAMOTO (referring to a hero of Japanese history, a Samurai during the 12th century) at Michinoku Pro-Wrestling or as EL BRAZER at El Drado.

He took the name SUGI on July 12, 2009 when joining Luchalibre AAA Mexico. His favorite final move is the Shooting Star Press, an impressive overhead wrestling hold in which the attacker jumps ahead, does a backward somersault and falls onto his opponent. And SUGI goes ahead for the top of the high flyer in the world.

 

 

Lucha Libre

 

Lucha Libre (literally “free wrestling” in Spanish) is the name given to pro wrestling in Mexico. It has a lot of overhead holds which make every match a show, which is its main characteristic, unlike other styles which are more about power and violence. Except in a few cases, Lucha Libre wrestlers wear a mask, like SUGI.
