Biography

SHIITAKE is a young illustrator from Fukuoka prefecture. She soon made herself known with her illustration and artbook project “Gensodo”. Her style is both rich and refined and is at its best when she draws young girls surrounded by flowers.

This mushroom (shiitake in Japanese) not like others regularly exhibits her works in Japan and is always very successful.
