Biography
Junko IWAO started her career in 1986 as a singer in the idol band Saint Four. Later, she got her first part on stage in the musical Akage no Ann (Ann with red hair).
In 1994, she played her first part as Seiyû (dubber) as Mélissa in the series Montana Jones. She is famous for dubbing Hikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tomoyo in Card Captor Sakura, Mima in Perfect Blue or Tomoe in Rurouni Kenshin.
At the same time, she released several solo albums from 1995 on and took part in performances such as Kohei TANAKA’s concert on March 18, 2012.
