Born in 1975 in Japan, Chiaki MIYAMOTO has a degree from the professional school of visual communication of Osaka, her native town. After a first experience as a graphic designer in Japan, she settles in France in 2000 to fulfill her dream: to become an illustrator for children. Then she goes to Emile Cohl School in Lyon and obtains her degree in 2003.
Since then, she has published many books for children and also works for the press. She is often summoned for animations in schools, libraries and books fairs. Chiaki lives and works in Lyon, France.
