Biography

In love with images and words, Alice BRIÈRE-HAQUET taught literature and art history for a while before discovering the wonderful world of children’s books. Since then, she writes, writes, writes, on everything she loves. Tales, novels, poems, invented things, adapted ones or real ones, whatever! The most important is that the text remains a link between two imaginations.

In 2011, nobi nobi ! published Alice’s Kaguya, princesse au clair de lune, a subtle adaptation from a Japanese ancestral tale. In June of this year, she renewed her collaboration with the illustrator Shiitake and nobi nobi ! and published Yôsei, dans le secret des fées, a sumptuous collection of poems about the nature spirits.
