On Friday, the fashion event of the day was set on the main stage with the very first fashion guest of honor of Japan Expo: designer h.NAOTO, an essential character of the gothic-lolita trend.
Along with the show, the duo HANGRY&ANGRY, who had worked with the designer, gave a showcase.
A conference also took place, during which h .NAOTO talked about his work and style in front of the audience of the main stage who had come by thousands to attend the event.

Seifuku Fashion Events by CONOMi
School uniform fashion is a hit in Harajuku and at Japan Expo too! The Japan Fashion Days could not miss this and the magazine CONOMi, specialized in this style, made two shows entirely dedicated to it.
As often in Japan, these shows mixed fashion and music. The first one ended with a showcase by Neeko, singer and fashion expert, and the second with a performance by the idol band PASSPO☆. Of course they were dressed in school uniforms!!

AOI Clothing
The unique style of AOI Clothing creations was hugely successful on Sunday. Mixing the silk of traditional Kimono and modern shapes, AOI Clothing gives a smart and urban spirit to Kimono, while keeping the heritage of this noble material.

Young Designers
Young Designers have been part of the festival for many years and once more presented their collections during three Fashion Springboards. The models of these young European designers inspired by Japanese fashion and culture have once more stunned fashion fans.
On Thursday, with Cyber Kawaii Créations, Clara Maeda and Contrée des Songes, the styles swang between gothic-lolita and historical, romantic and glamour. On Saturday, ESAÏKHA CRÉATION, Miss Tick, Kawaii-Mina and My Oppa showed models between traditions and modernity. On Sunday, Freaky Pink, Irlywell, L’Antre du Lord and Fleurs d’Ascenseurs made you dream with pin-up and fairy styles.
They were also in the Young Designer Village where you could buy the most irresistible clothes to complete your wardrobe!
