The cultural stage in music

Japanese traditional music and dancing thrilled the audience of the cultural stage during four days. Nihon Buyô dancing, Minyô show (folk songs and dancing), Taiko concerts by Wadaiko Makoto, and Okinawa Sanshin and Shamisen concerts: traditional music dance lovers had a great time!

The audience also enjoyed a show by the duo Orientarhythm: dynamic dancing mixing streetdance and martial arts movements.

100 % culture

The Embassy of Japan organized concerts (Taiko, Shamisen), Japanese lessons, conferences and a contest to win… a trip to Japan, on Saturday and Sunday!

The cultural stage also welcomed the presentation of Japanese green tea by Tamayura. The audience could participate and learn how to prepare Matcha (powder green tea) in harmony.

The unavoidable traditional Kimono has of course been showed, as the way to put it on and wear it.

Everyday, many conferences happened, as well as Kamishibai shows, a picture theatre.

Martial art demonstrations by many associations, or Katana demonstrations by Nihon Antiquaire, also gave rhythm to the cultural stage.
