Yumiko IGARASHI, the artist of Candy, the cult Manga which left its mark on whole generations of young girls, is the Manga guest of honor of Japan Expo and an exhibition pays a tribute to this “Princess of Shôjo Manga”!

The exhibition “Yumiko IGARASHI, the Princess of Shôjo Manga” shows many works by the artist.

With about forty illustrations, sometimes never published in France, the exhibition focuses on the Shôjo creations of the artist and lets you (re)discover her Manga featuring wide-eyed young girls full of joie de vivre.

Those who are nostalgic of the time when Candy was broadcast on TV can enjoy again the images of their childhood whereas the youngest can discover the universe of the artist of Candy, Mayme Angel, Georgie and many more.

An area is dedicated to the tribute of the fans who took part in the contest “Draw your tribute to Yumiko IGARASHI” and thus expressed their admiration.
