Synopsis

Middle of the 21^st century: global warming has caused terrible floods. The geography of the world is upside down and whole nations disappear. To avoid the extinction of the mankind, very strict measures to control CO₂ emissions are applied; carbon trading governs the global economy...
Most of Japan has been absorbed by water. The still emerged grounds are invaded by a dense and toxic tropical jungle.

The Atlas project has given rise to a huge air city and allows some people to escape this deadly environment. But only the wealthy have access to this city. Since more than one half-century, most Japanese people trapped in this hostile environment, trying to live in a normal way... while cherishing the hope of winning one day one of the valuable access to Atlas.
