But at the end of his unique treatments, the patients are lead to digging further into their souls to find peace of mind.

Set in Tôkyô in the near future, this is the story of 11 days of the life of a boy who challenged the prevailing “depressing” mood of the nation and a girl who supported him. The boy Takizawa, who lost his past memory, helps Saki out when she is in trouble in Washington D.C. They return to Japan and try to solve mysteries of Takizawa’s lost memory. He seems to be one of the twelve selected people to lead the nation in the right direction. But why and how??

The Tale of Genji is a full-length novel written in the early 11th century by lady MURASAKI who was a novelist and a court lady. It is the oldest romance novel and the most famous work in Japanese literature. In celebration of the millennium year since the creation of The Tale of Genji, the animated series of this master piece are now available. The story depicts the life of Hikaru Genji, who was born as an emperor’s son but is not meant to be an emperor, as well as his love affairs with women in the aristocratic society of the Heian period.
