You are between 18 and 26 and are an artist? Take part in the contest Koko to Asoko organized by the association Walking Art and your work may be exhibited at Japan Expo this summer!

Koko to Asoko, a solidarity and art contest
Organized by the association Walking Art, Koko to Asoko (here and there in Japanese) is an art contest for young artists from 18 to 26, taking place from February to April 2012.
The subject of the contest is “Arms & Patterns from Japan”.

To participate
To take part in the contest Koko to Asoko, you just have to accept the rules and pay €10, half of which will be donated to a charity in Japan.
You have to make your work on paper (whatever kind) which can’t be bigger than A3.
The exhibition
In May 2012, the jury will choose 20 works among those received. These 20 works will be exhibited at Japan Expo from July 5 to 8, 2012.
The winners
At the end of the contest, the Jury will give a special prize and the attendees of Japan Expo will vote for the three winners of the contest. The results will be given on Sunday, July 8 at 5.00 pm on the booth Koko to Asoko at Japan Expo.
The winners will get many prizes: subscription to a magazine, books, Furoshiki…
