K: Missing Kings

The sequel film of the anime K will premiere on July 12, 2014. For the occasion, Japan Expo has the honor to offer you the worldwide premiere of the movie K: Missing Kings!

The Movie

K: Missing Kings will be a sequel to the 2012 TV anime series K, also known as K Project.

K is an original TV animation series, set in a slightly different modern Japan, where 7 kings have their own feuds and alliances. In this world, where different clans with very particular powers are settled, a young high-school student somehow finds himself involved in a battle between people with unbelievable powers.

The story of K the movie is created by GoRA, 7masked authors who have carefully drawn up a story that includes the unique writing ability of each of the GoRA members. The animation is done by “GoHands,” the same studio behind Mardock Scramble. The show is directed and features character designs by Shingo Suzuki, as well as music from Mikio Endo and animation direction by Makoto Furuta – a truly amazing staff group. The show's casting features many popular voice actors, including Yui Horie, Kenjiro Tsuda, Daisuke Namikawa, Daisuke Ono, Mikako Komatsu, and Tomokazu Sugita. The opening and ending themes are sung by angela and Mikako Komatsu respectively, both of which are attraction lots of attention.

Program

The world premiere screening of K: Missing Kings is held at Japan Expo before its screening in Japan. This will be an opportunity for fans to be the first in the world to watch the movie.

The voice actors Yui HORIE and Kenjiro TSUDA will appear on stage to heat up the event! Yui plays the role of Anna KUSHINA. She has been featured in more than 125 popular anime titles and also an accomplished singer. As for Kenjiro, he lends his voice to the character of Mikoto SUO. He is also featured in remarkable titles such as NARUTOYU-GI-OUand Prince of Tennis, and presents radio programs.
