the best tester of Game Center CX!
GameCenter CX, also known as Retro Game Master, is a Japanese television series where Shinya ARINO, a member of comedy duo Yoiko, plays Japan's most popular video games (a majority of which are Family Computer games) and records his progress as he works through a time limit, usually lasting up to one day.
He is supported by his Assistant Directors (ADs) and staff, both via moral support and actual gameplay. He also gets the chance to interview game designers and to play arcade games occasionally. The series is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and a movie is planned. In the meanwhile, Shinya ARINO is for the first time at Japan Expo!
Activities on the festival
For that special occasion and his very first challenge at Japan Expo, Chef ARINO tackles an old school game.
Will he be good enough? It's up to you to come and cheer him up!
Projections of some of the serie's episodes are also planned, in order to discover, for the first time or once again, those famous challenges!
