Brigade SOS Francophone

 

The Brigade S.O.S Francophone (French-speaking S.O.S brigade) is an association which Websitewas created to follow the activities of the website www.haruhi.fr. It aims at “flooding the world with fun” and at promoting the universe of Haruhi SUZUMIYA and more generally Otaku culture.

The community keeps on growing around the website since it was created in 2007 and allows to discover more of this rich and colorful world through videos, information, images and fanarts, a forum and a chat.The association also promotes this culture by organizing activities (like dance lessons or games) at conventions, and other events and with a fanzine. Forum Thalie

 

Created in December 2009, Forum Thalie was formed around the community and the forum bearing the same name to offer activities and games in conventions, and to promote “geek” culture from Japanese animation to video games and role playing games, comic books or frozen gastronomy.

This young association and its members will be present during the whole of the festival. They have been getting ready for the event, having charisma for breakfast every morning, beating meat carcasses every afternoon and writing crazy quizzes every night! Join them on www.forum-thalie.fr!

The Brigade S.O.S Francophone is happy to offer a wide range of activities during the entire festival. Stage activities, quizzes with varying difficulty and extravagant concepts, table activities or games on old video games consoles…

• Aliens, ESPer and time traveler hunt: help Haruhi find them inside the festival
• Dance demonstrations and lessons: learn how to dance on various Anime themes Lucky Star, Haruhi, Popipo (Vocaloïd) and more others...
• Quizzes and crosswords: fill in Haruhiist personality quizzes to know which character from the serie you’re like or try crosswords
• The game “of which you are the hero”: try your Otaku culture and move forward as quickly as possible and meet many challenges: quizzes, miming, dancing, singing, everything is good to win!

The members of Forum Thalie are also getting ready by preparing many games. You just have to make a choice… or try them all:

• Heptathlon Otaku/Gamer: blind tests, general knowledge questions, dancing competitions, art contests or video games challenges... This game has loads of surprises in store for you
• The Traproulette: eight candidates have one minute each to answer elegantly as possible to as many questions as they can
• Flower of Thanatos: you just have to answer questions… but fighting at the same time in a tournament might make things a bit harder
• The Big Hardcore Quiz oH My God I Cry Tears of Blood: one hour of quizzes with blindtests, tricky questions, cheap shots and other obstacles… and loads of gifts to win!
