Launched for the very first time during Japan Expo 11th Impact, the European Cosplay Gathering is a contest in which European Cosplayers compete on originality and style.

After national selections during festivals, the first finale will take place at Japan Expo 12th Impact. Each country will be represented by a solo Cosplayer and by a group of two or three people.

Behind the competition, this new tournament will create links between fans of every country, reinforcing the popularity of Japanese pop culture in Europe.
