For the release of Resident Evil 6 on October 2, 2012 in France, the cult video game is presented in premiere at Japan Expo on the video games stage.

Successful mix between action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of the year. The most popular heroes from the series, Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to fight the bioterrorist worldwide threat. The story takes the players from North America unto Lanshiang in China, stopping by Edonia in Eastern Europe. Derek Simmons, the president’s assistant, and Ada Wong, the femme fatale. But what role will she play in this story? Is she related to the mysterious Neo-Umbrella?

Resident Evil 6 will allow players to select between three scenarios with connected storylines. The player characters from each scenario will have their own partners in a similar fashion to previous games. Thus it can be played alone or co-op, in LAN or online. The game will have two primary enemies including the returning zombies and the newly introduced J'avo. Unlike zombies, J'avo are able to interact with each other to plan an attack, use weapons, and heal themselves. Also the game will allow players to be able to move around while shooting.

Resident Evil 6 is planned for release on October 2, 2012 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, followed by a PC version.
