Synopsis

Midland: a kingdom caught for a century in a merciless war. On battlefields, Guts, a young mercenary, is fighting for his life everyday. Despite his young age, he is fighting like an enraged dog, showing dreadful dexterity and going along with an impressively huge sword.

Out of another fight, he gets into trouble with a group of mercenaries who think they can rob him. The shock is hard for them and their chief has to intervene to prevent his lieutenants from getting killed.

After the fight, Guts is recruited and discovers that he is facing the Troupe des Faucons (Falcon troup), tough mercenaries run by Griffith, a charismatic and mysterious young man…
