What is an AMV?

 

An AMV, or Anime Music Video, is a video made from extracts of Anime, the whole being synchronized with a song or a piece of music.
It is a video editing, more or less complex and refined, which allows to enjoy presenting your know-how and vision of a work (a particular Anime) or theme (thefighting, emotion ...).

While most videos are based on Anime, some also use video game sequences, live extracts or Manga pages.

 

 

AMV France

 

AMV France is the largest French-speaking community of AMV makers!
The association provides all the necessary means to develop AMV like music videos in France.

Whether by organizing events such as dedicated competitions and meetings, or maintaining closer links with various partners, AMV France wants to be a participative association where everyone can add its contribution,whether they are AMV enthusiasts or beginners. Today, the association also organizes international competitions, as at Japan Expo this year.

 

Activities

 

For the 12th Impact, AMV France will organize many activities

• Thematic broadcasts
• The Dead Fantasy last preview
• Quizzes on the Multi-Animated AMV: guess as many Anime as possible after watching an AMV made of about sixty sources
• A competition of the most "popular Anime ": all day long, everyone votes for their favorite Anime via a form on the booth.

By late afternoon, the most popular Anime will have a dedicated AMV playlist for an half hour!
