Space Pirate Captain Harlock’s director at Japan Expo
The famous pirate’s fans can already be glad of the movie director’s coming to the festival: don’t miss Shinji ARAMAKI, a master who’s had a major impact on the world of animation in Japan and beyond!

After Kitarô KÔSAKA, Ippei KURI, and Yoshiyuki ITÔ, Shinji ARAMAKI is added to the many major names of animation already announced at the festival! He is both a director and a mecha-designer, and among his many works, has directed Appleseed, Starship Troopers: Invasion and of course Space Pirate Captain Harlock.
In 2014, Shinji ARAMAKI has diercted Appleseed α, to be released in the coming months. There is more good news as you will meet him this summer at Japan Expo for a conference and signings!
