Keiji INAFUNE reveals his projects
Megaman’s chara-designer has become the producer of his own studio. He held a conference on Japan Expo stage yesterday after a crowded signing session.
At 3 pm on Thursday, Keiji INAFUNE has entered the festival starting with signing old Megaman cartridges brought by his fans. Right after that, he was settled on Japan Expo stage for a conference with Nolife TV host Suzuka. He shared his work experiences, anecdotes and talked about his new production studio called Comcept. For two years, INAFUNE has jumped into a new adventure and now, two very hopeful video games are about to see the light!
The first one is certainly the dearest to his heart, Kaio: King of Pirates. The designs are quite simple and smooth but don’t lack quality. The game promises action and adventure since it is inspired by the Three Kingdoms legend, but also stands on a rich and psychological scenario.
The second one is a well advanced project targeting an older audience: Soul Sacrifice. The universe is a whole different one, much more obscure, closer to Dark Fantasy. Comcept guarantees the game will be soon achieved!
It is with a mutual pleasure that Japan Expo welcomes Keiji INAFUNE for the first time, since he asserted he was wishing to come for a long time and he's already willing to renew the adventure for the years to come!
For those who would have missed the conference on Thursday,
another one is planned for Sunday on the video game stage at 4 pm. Don’t miss it!
