Discover the world of the Samurai warrior at the quai Branly museum
If you happen to be in Paris in the following weeks and like Samurai, have a look at this exhibition at the quai Branly museum!
This summer, Japan Expo showed you Samurai armors on the cultural stage thanks to the association Samurai no Kokoro. If you want to go further and get to know more about Samurai warriors in ancient Japan, the quai Branly museum is currently proposing a dedicated exhibition.
This exceptional collection of Samurai armors gathered by Ann and Gabriel BARBIER-MUELLER is showed for the first time in Europe: 140 objects (full armors, helmets, weapons…) are displayed from the 12th to the 19th century.
Don’t miss this opportunity of discovering the role of Samurai in society and to admire their armors which, on top of being protections, are also beautiful objects. You still have some time since the exhibition is taking place until January 29 at the quai Branly museum! More information on www.quaibranly.fr.
