French artists express with their talent and emotions all the affection they had for Satoshi KON, a genius who left us too soon.

© All rights reserved Satoshi KON made himself known as an animation director in 1997 with Perfect Blue. The films Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika, and the series Paranoia Agent followed. So many works which left a deep mark on the audience.

Satoshi KON passed away suddenly last year, leaving a huge gap in the landscape of animation. To pay a tribute to the master, Japan Expo asked to thirty French artists to illustrate the memory of Satoshi KON. After Japan Expo Sud, the exhibition will be shown at Japan Expo this summer.
